60th anniversary commemoration of the ending of World War II at Horse Guards Parade, London

Following our appearance with The Bach Choir at the Queen's Jubilee celebrations in 2002, the choir joined them again for the 60th anniversary commemoration of the ending of World War II. The event was attended by HM The Queen and also broadcast live by the BBC. Performing on Horse Guards Parade, in front of an audience which included veterans of the war, the Choir sang a section of Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man - A Mass for Peace as well as other musical favourites, designed to take the audience back in time. The Choir was joined by a tri-Service orchestra, as well as celebrities from the worlds of film and television.
