This concert was dedicated to the memory of David Robinson 1937-2002 much-loved and respected member of The Waynflete Singers for over 30 years. Sadly, David died in January after a road accident.

The combined choirs performed Handel's Coronation Anthem Zadok the Priest and other music as HM The Queen progressed from Buckingham Palace to St Paul's Cathedral. They also led the Community Singing at 6:05pm and sang the Finale at 6:25pm, after the flypast by Concorde and The Red Arrows

This was our final concert under the Direction of David Hill. It was a rousing send off for David - there was a full house and he received a standing ovation at the end of the concert.
